It has been a while

It's been a week and day since I've took my first step off of that boat in Seyda Neen. So much has happened, I guess I'll start by days.

Day 1

Walked around for a while, that ring that I picked up on my way out of the Census and Excise office belonged to a wood elf named Fargoth, He was very glad to have it back. In return he put in a good word for me at the local tradehouse. The owner there was more then happy to sell me some equipment at a lower price. But after selling everything I was a tad low on money, so I decided to go into a cave nearby to possibly find some loot to erm, loot. I found many items in there, lots of new weapons and such. The only thing in there I didn't sell was a bow with the name "Hammer" inscribed on it. I was really hoping it was actually a hammer. Ah well. I went outside from there and went back to Arrille to sell a few things. Then I went up to the siltstrider and took it to balmora.

Day 2

I went to the local smith and sold more of my loots. And also bought a few items. The day was so long I can't remember exactly where I had gone. All I remember doing was selling tons of stuff and buying some new weapons and armor. Full steel to be exact. I also joined the fighter's guild and cleared out an infestation of rats. While I was on that side of town I went to Caius' house and joined the blades. Looks like he was happy to see me. Nobody is ever happy to see me. I was given a job to get some information on the neravarine and the sixth house cult. The man to give me info was thankfully at the fighters guild. But alas, I had to do a favor for him. Go to a dwemer ruin and collect a puzzle cube. I remember guarding around Kemel Ze. There not fun to be around.

Day 3

By the gods! An assassin attempted to kill me last night. Dark Brotherhood ones. I informed a guard and he told me to go to ebonheart and speak with some official there. That's something for later. The armorer in the Fighters guild was more then happy to receive some of there armor though. For a modest price of course. Anyways, to make a long day short, I did a job for the fighters guild involving killing egg poachers. I also made it to that dwemer ruin and got the puzzle cube. I turned it over to Hasphat and got my information. I decided to rest at the guild house for the night though. I woke up from a dream. It was more like a nightmare. I quickly fell back asleep though, only to be woken again by another assassin! What have I done to deserve this?

Day 4

I went back to Wayn and sold him another set of assassin armor. He really likes that stuff. I got my next job with the fighters guild to kill some Telvanni agents. I went to the blades' hideout and talk to Caius and got my next job, to collect more information from a person in the mages guild. This person told me to get a skull from a tomb that is apparently near Caldera. It took me quite a while to find it, and when I did realized I was only a hill over from Seyda Neen, Damnit. Ah well. The tomb was rather dangerous, filled with hordes of undead. Could have been more dangerous I guess though. I went back to balmora from seyda neen and went to the mages guild. She exchanged the info and I took it Caius. He said I wasn't ready for my next job though.

Day 5

Today was a long day. I went to the Caldera mine and killed the Agents. Wasn't to difficult at all. Got a nice new shield. I went back to the guild house and got my next assignment to get a code book. I bribed the chick who had the book and also got my next assignment from Caius. Go to the city of Vivec and collect more information. Caius is extremely interested in the Nereravarine. Hmm. I took the book back to the guild house master and got my next task to collect some debt money in Suran. I went to Suran, got the money, went to vivec and collected all the information. I then swam to ebonheart and found some underground chambers. In there I found a rogue imperial legion soldier, who attacked me. He was very, very strong and I was barely able to beat him. He had the Lord's mail on him. It's a very comfy fit. From those caverns I went outside and headed to the silt strider in vivec and took it back to balmora.

Day 6

I returned the debt money and got my share of it. I also got another job to kill an orc outlaw in town. I went to her house and killed her, then went to Caius' house and gave him the information. I got another job from him to vist an ashlander in Ald-Ruhn. Wonderful, more information collecting. I do suppose the blades are the empire's spies. I decided I would put it off for a while though and go to gnisis. Before I did that though I turned in my job at the fighters guild house. The guild master there told me she didn't have any more jobs for me until I was a higher rank.

Day 7

Today I joined the Imperial Legion. I was told to get a land deed from a recent widow. She told me to stick it in my ear and get out of her house. She said she would not give it because her husband was killed by a legion soldier. I did a little investigating and found out this was true. I then performed a little execution. I nearly died in there though. I had to fight the legion soldier and two kwama warriors were attacking me. I killed the soldier and one kwama and ran. On my way out I was once again attacked by two assassins. I killed them easily, thankfully. I finished my job. I am now taking a nice rest for a while. I've been doing a lot lately.

My Backstory

(This is writing from a first person perspective)

"Reth Adares. A nord. With a Dunmer name. I have always been picked on for it. It wasn't my choice. But it was my loving parents choice. My Dunmer parents choice."

"What? Dunmer parents? Are you sure those dreams aren't getting to your head?" Jiub asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I just said it didn't I?" Reth quipped. Jiub just glared.

"Anyways, I was apparently left on an island in the Sheogorath Region. A ship crash supposedly. Vampires in a local cave found me. I guess they didn't like me and left by the shrine of Malacath. They didn't like me either. And they left me in Dagon Fel. Apparently, someone there did like me. A very nice dunmer lady. A young lady though. 17. She had no child of her own. In fact she was leaving. Leaving for Firewatch. I guess she saw me and took her with. I didn't find out until I was older that she was leaving for fear of being killed. She had already escaped from the Telvanni once. Now she had to do it again. But she did want a child to bring to her husband. Her Nord husband."

"Are you just creating the most annoying story ever to mock me? I can kill you. You realize that right?" Jiub said plainly.

"Hahaha good luck with killing me, I'm untied too you realize that right? And no. This is true. Continuing. She made it to Firewatch and met up with her husband. Her husband was actually a personal guard to the Duchess. The Duchess actually named me. Named me Reth. I can never remember why though. I grow up very loved by most of the people in the Castle. By the time I was twelve I started to learn how to fight. By the time I was 15 I was a guard down at the port. I got into quite a bit of trouble though. Lots of fights with different people. Lots of breaking things at the port. On accident of course. I was naturally curious. By the time I was 27 I was a personal guard to the Duchess along with my father. He was in fact captain of the Guard then."

"That is believable. Wild but believable. But I what I want to know is why are you on this boat as a prisoner, and also, whats the tattoo from?" Jiub asked with a very kind tone this time.

"The tattoo was something to mark me part of a group of guards. A long story for another time. Me being in prison though? I was wrongly accused."

"For what?"

"Attempted assassination of the duchess, and murder of the guard captain, 7 guards, and my mother."

Jiub noticed the terrible look on Reth's face when he said that. He calmly told Reth that he didn't have to tell if he didn't want to.

"I need to though. I guess what happened is an assassin sneaked into the castle and quietly killed guards as he made his way up to the Duchess' bed room. Unfortunately for him me and my father were in the room outside of her's. Unfortunately for my dad he was standing right in front of the door and the assassin cut him from ear to ear with a dagger. I quickly grabbed the assassin and started beating his face in with tears running down my own. This was going good until the assassin used some kind of trap on his body and sent me writhing off of him. He stood up with blood dripping from his broken jaw and nose. He pulled a few teeth out and jammed them into the side of my skull. Once he finished with that he started walking to the Duchess' room and right before he opened the door I drug myself up and tackled him. We rolled on the floor for a minute until he got on top of me and started beating me like I had beat him. I eventually turned my head to the side and he punched the teeth he had put into my head and he drew back for just a second. That second was long enough for me to jump up grab him and slam him through the door to the balcony. I slammed to hard though and we both fell to the ground below. I used his body as a cushion. In the moment before we hit though I realized he was the second important bodyguard for the Duchess. I blacked out as we both hit the ground. I woke up in the courtyard. My mother was being drug out and was beheaded in front of me. I was then drug into a ship and shipped off to Cyrodill. I spent 5 years in the prison. Never treated badly though. I couldn't figure it out though. One day I meant my brother though. He was a real nord. Raised by two nords in solsthiem. He looked mostly like me though. He was also treated kindly. About three weeks ago though in the dead middle of the night I was told to wake up and get in a carriage. And then you know the rest of the story."

Jiub blankly stared at me for a minute then smiled. Almost as if he did know me. It was a strange feeling. I told him I was going to back to sleep before we got to Vvardenfell. He mumbled something under his breathe about Azura and the Nerevarine as fell asleep...

Welcome to my adventures

Welcome all. Yes I was a little bored when I made this. But, I've always wanted to this. Write a day to day journal of my adventures in Morrowind.

Ah morrowind. A great game. Been playing it for two years now. Beat the game a few times. I had an awesome nord by first time through. He rose to the top of the ranks in all of the factions. Well that's enough about old characters. Time for new adventures. Misadventures. As a word of warning I roleplay. Get used to it.
